Some people have told me that if you only do a muscle group once a week that it is ok.. do you find that you can still manage to gain mass only doing the groups once a week?
That seems to be the conventional wisdom but it depends primarily what you want. FWIW, I work out as much for the enjoyment as any other reason and hit every body part twice in an eight day cycle if that makes any sense to you.
