It'll probably be more than two weeks before you have full use again won't it?

yeah. 2 more weeks and i can START training. my hand strength is not going to be very good, but at least i can get back into the swing of things. over the next 2 weeks im able to take the cast off when im sitting around the house, etc. and am practicing opposition exercises and slowly building back some strength. its just hard to be away from it som long. its become a part of my life so much that i actually miss it. but i guess the functioning and mobility of my hand for the rest of my life takes a bit more of a precedence on the importance list. :)

I know the feeling bropie. I had surgery to repair an old hernia (not workout related), that was about a month ago. I hit the gym a couple times a week about a week after my surgery, but had too much soreness in the region afterwards so I laid off and tested it out the next week and same problem. This is the first week I've been able to get back in and push the weight I was prior to surgery without too much discomfort.

Hang in there and you'll be back before you know it.
