Well I've joined this site in search of help on getting started. I've losted almost 15 pounds from just eating healthier and trying to run three times a week at 3 miles each time. I've built up enough stamina to run the whole length. My question is now that i'm to around 180 pounds should i lose more weight before getting muscle or go for muscle now.
You can keep losing weight if that's your goal but you'll be better off if you start a resistance program at the same time. There's a big misconception about strengthening muscle (you don't have to get fat) and losing weight.
