I's like to start my diet today. Would a full vegetarian diet work for me to get rid of the fat? Thanks.

Unless you are vegetarian and know what it is all about then, yes it will work, but a complete diet with healthy nutrients will work also. Good luck with the new dumbells and barbell.

Low carb is a horrible diet. especially if you are physically active. I will agree that low carb dieting is a quick way to loose weight, but most people feel like $hit while they are on it. Headaches, diarrhea, constipation, low energy, and hypoglycemia are some but not all the side effects of a low carb diet. Lets not forget that the increased intake of protein and fat are very hard on your kidneys and liver. (don't get me wrong, I'm all for protein but too high a protein intake can be bad). Carbohydrates are where our bodies get our energy. Fibrous carbohydrates are the way to go (whole grains). As far as vegetarian diet goes,I've never seen an overweight vegetarian so there must be something to it. You have to be careful to get enough protein with that though.
