Running.... Speed or Time?

Hi

As part of my workout i do a 2.5k run a the start. I do this flat out and usually takes me 12.5 mins. Would it be better for me to run at a lower speed for a longer time or stay as i am. My goal is to burn fat. Anyone have any thoughts?

higher intensity cardio will burn more fat, so i would say keep at the same pace, or work on improving your time.
