Hello. I am 21 years old, about 5'8 and around 170 lbs. That may not seem that overweight, but I have a huge gut! I want to know what is the best way to get my stomach flat? I want to work on losing some of that baggage and getting at least a flat stomach. Can someone recommend a good/solid program for me? I have a gym here on campus at my disposal, and have only gone running on the treadmill a few times. Should I do just cardio, some cardio and weights, some situps?. I'd like a healthy combination of everything that can help me get in a good shape. Thanks!!!
Since you have the gym and the equipment at your disposal, try the "weight loss and definition" program from here on Freetrainers. It is primarily weight training and cardio which is what you need to acheive your goals. Measure yourself before you start teh program and then every 2 weeks in to it. You will see amazing changes if you follow the routine and eat correctly. The eating is very important. Good Luck.
