Can someone settle this argument my wife and I ALWAYS have? Question is: When I measure myself, should I be flexed or relaxed?

Well,I would have to disagree with that answer. Hasn't there been times when you have a better pump than others? If you take a measurement relaxed, same time each time, will give you truer readings. Also, never do the calipers after your workout! Before is much better. You will be tighter of course after the workout, and again not a true reading.

Im not really concerned about the calipers, but more the measurements. Thanks for the input bb1fit. I wont let my wife read this one! Wheres the erase key??

Agree bb1 but, I was thinking that if one wanted the best absolute biggest measurement, I would think immediately after a workout would be the best. The muscles are full of blood and are more easily constricted. I guess that would be the best thing for one's own personal morale. However, for a true reading for measuring progess, bb1 is right on the money. Agreed carivan, erase these posts. lmaoooo DP

I see your point DP and it is a normal thought. You feel full and big right after training. But I know there are days when I can get such a pump it feels like the bicep is going to explode, then others where no matter what I do I just don't "feel" it. I was also taught when I first did my certification training on the caliper measurements. You guys should share the"winnings", and don't tell your wife!! (depending on what the bet was for though!) LOL..
