With such a topic so broad we truly try to cover the basics from all angles in this group. Nothing too big or too small. Nutrition is as significant if not more as exercise is to reaching your goals so learn all you can.
ABSolutely. Ask her to come to the gym with you. Encourage her to do some cardio for her heart etc. Explain to her what the cardio can do for her heart. You never know she might get into it and thank you after all. You can't nag someone about thier weight. If you got her off the pop thats a start. Introduce her to juices that have no added sugar.

Tell her that You need help at the gym...doing your cardio etc make it a point to her that you are the one that needs the help, once she starts to gt active and sees and feels how good it is she will come around. Also rmemebr that just like with people who drink to much overweight people tend to have to hit "rockbottom" before making a change.
