Being overweight is a common trait these days and there is not enough help out there. Find out how you can shed those pounds and improve yourself from within.
I am a 19 year old male. 5'11 and weigh in about the 190-200 range. I plan to lose about 10-15 pounds in the next 2 months. I also want to build muscle.
I have made small changes to my diet. All my drinks range from water, diet pops, propel(when I work out) and a low caloride apple juice every so often.
I also try to snack on fruits, like 1 banana or apple per day. Usually it is only one snack. Every so often it may be low calorie chips ie: Light Doritos.
I eat 2 meals a day. To be honest there are here at the fraternity and can range from anything. For example, tonight we had a pasta dish.
I have been working out for about a week. Right now on Mon. Wed. and Fri. I am doing a 20-30 minute upper body lifting with a 10-15 minute 1-2 mile jog. On Tues. and Thurs. I run at least 2 miles, trying to build to 3 miles. Also I do abs on Tues. and Thurs. for about 10 minutes.
I want to tone my legs. I feel I can do that by running. Also I want to build upper body strength.
A friend recommended Muscle Milk after I told him I needed something that would help build lean muscles and give energy so I do not become tired with workouts.
I was planning on using Muscle Milk to replace my lunch meal. My workouts are usually in the evening after supper. 9-10 pm usually. Would this be a right time to use Muscle Milk? I need help.
That would be a good time. Also, as per your thread title, you cannot possibly turn fat into muscle. Impossibility, two completely different substrates.
