Hi,
I was wondering of buying a bench as it's so necesarry but i dont have space and it costs alot also. So I was wondering if there were anyway u cld imitate a flat or incline bench rather than using the floor. I'd be really grateful to hear any productive ideas.

Thanks

maybe a exercise ball w/ dumbells? I dont know if that would help, but to be honest. As long as you can get access to a gym I'd definately go that route if at all possible. Too many things can go wrong to lift at home by yourself.

so ur saying a bench is too expensive and even if u could afford it u have no where to put it. so u basically have no choice BUT to use the floor because if you DID get one for free or made one up.. u wouldnt be able to use it due to space restrictions as u said :P yet.. if u have room on the floor to workout why cant u put the bench there? ^o)

You can buy one of those benches at walmart that fold down. I think it costs around $50 bucks and use dumbbells.
I don't know what the weight limit is. If your bench weight is too high you're just out of luck.

yes PLEASE make it with cushions and pillows :P haha

besides u got room in ur living room now put it there :P

nah all honesty i think the floor or maybe one of those balls ( not that kind ) would be best with you. those balls u can move around or store anywhere u want doesnt get in the way and there easy to move around, u wont be able to do any barbell stuff but im assuming you alreayd know that, so it'll be all dumbells.. which is good for stabalizing your muscles and symetry, also might teach you better form if your just starting out.

basic benches aren't heavy (or expensive), you can always use one in your living room and then move it to some other place for storage. I used to use my bed and prop myself up with pillows, but it isn't the same as using an incline bench.
