I was wondering if doing flat bench presses with either dumbbells or barbell w/ weights tends to flatten the chest? What types of exercises lift the chest muscles? I am small to average bust size and over 40 and would like to know what exercises I should do to lift the breast muscle. Thanks to all.

Do all three for the best deelopment and also use barbells as well as db's. Rather than write a book about it, I'm posting the sites info about chest and it's a pretty informative read. I like db's when I want to get a really good burn and the most range of movement.

I would think incline presses, and the overhead one. The name of it escapes me, but you lie flat on the bench with a dumbell over your head, kinda behind you, then raise it up and forward to the vertical position. Any excersize that would work the upper chest. Makes sense to me, but then I don't have breasts...
