Hi everyone! I havn'e been here for a while but I thought that this would be a great place to ask my question. What is better for loosing fat: High reps lower weight or higher weight lower reps. I've been doing 4 sets with reps starting at 12,10,8,6 increasing my weight with each set. I've been working out for 8 weeks now and I do 60 minutes of an elliptical machine at 65-70% my max heart rate and weight training but I'm just not seeing the results as fast as I was thinking I would. I've only lost 6 pounds! Whats up with that? I know that muscle weighs more than fat but shouldn't I have lost more? I'm very good about watching my diet, I do 5-6 small meals /day and really limit my starches, sugar and fat. Help!
