I work legs twice a week, Mon and Fri.
Squats 3 sets of 15(no weights yet-I lose my balance)
Plie squats holding a 25lb plate, 3 sets of 10
Walking lunges w/15lbs DB, across the room and back, twice
Reverse lunges, 3 sets of 12 w/15lb DB
And I don't know what they are called but I do some lunges w/my back foot on a bench and lunge, bringing my back knee as close to the floor as I can. 3 sets, 15reps w/o weight, 10 reps w/10lbs and until failure w/12.5lbs.
I tend to do a set of a certain exercise and then a set w/another body part, like shoulders. Alternating the two with little rest.
I am trying to lose fat right now.

You can do one legged squats? but not a parallel bb squat?
I think the volume is to high.....misconception is you'll get bulky doing reps of 10 8 or even 6's.....you need to challange your body.
I think the reverse lunges, or walking lunges should be taking out......they are both the same thing......wheres your ham training?
I'd do 4 sets squats 15 12 10 8
lunges 10 each leg
romain dls, or stiff dl 3x10
ham curls 3 sets

Oh, I forgot that I do machine ham curls too.
Only 10 lunges each leg?
Did I mention my flabby legs and lack of a butt? LOL!
I am trying to get a rounder, firmer, bigger butt if possible.
What are romain deadlifts and stiff deadlifts?
What exactly are they working? Whole body or just lower body?
Also should I do this routine twice a week or switch up the other day?
Thanks Andrew, I have read many of your posts, good stuff! :)

romain dls and stiff dls will work glute ham area.....another good excercise would be a glute hame machine.....for butt and leg presses with feet high on platform.

So many people these days are afraid of high volume training and you can get excellent results doing it. I use it and I get great results. Don't worry about lifting as much as you can. Worry about lifting as much as you can with good form for 8-12 reps. Twice a week isn't so bad if you change the exercises up for each day also. Concentrate on different parts of your legs on each day. If you can I'd also try to go with Mon and Thur just to let them have more time to recover from both sessions.
-------------- Pleasure and Pain, they\'re not opposites, they\'re neighbors-separated by a thin line and a split second.
