Hi all. I'm new here and I'll be asking a lot of questions but for now I wanted to know is it effective to exercise before you eat for the first time of the day? Mainly I would be doing cardio at that time (15 miles in one hour on a staitonary bike). Let me know what you think. Thanks in advance.

no, never work out on an empty stomach. have some carbs (ie a few pieces of toast, oatmeal, a quick sandwich) and some lean protein before you workout.

depends on your goals, for weight loss-its fine, just drink lots of water.
