Looking to whip up a mean tuna salad from time to time, seems how my lady friend has sworn off protien shakes forever! (lol... I try so hard to make her like them, but isn't going to happen.) Anyone know of a really tasty way to make one?

Thanks in advance!

Scoobie - chop up some broccoli florets, some cauliflower florets, some cucmber, some red onion, and a carrot, mix with a can of tuna (drained), add 1 tbsp olive oil vinagrette of choice and some fresh garlic, ground pepper.

That is also good stuffed into whole wheat pita bread pockets.

My favorite easiest tuna salad is pre-cut romaine or mixed greens, can of tuna over the top of them, udo's oil, salt, pepper and garlic.

I posted a tuna, black bean and barley salad on the recipe sticky above.

Also - look up tuna in fit buddy, there have been endless discussions on how to make tuna more palatable.

Try your ladyfriend on nectar whey protein - it comes in awesome fruit flavors, I also like to boost the flavor by mixing it with crystal lite instead of just water.

Good stuff! Keep it coming. Today we made it with some cellary and red peppers. Definetely needed other things to spice it up a bit... but it's what we had to work with =] I will definitely give these all a try. Thanks again!

Try any of the above but with cooked (still a little crunchy) rice.

It may not sound like much but some drained chunk light tuna mixed with salsa is pretty good with some whole wheat crackers. for a snack. Quick and easy ... just the way I like it.
