Hello! I am new to FT (1 week) but have been religious about following the routines and eating plans laid out on the site. I had many questions about dieting and working out which was all answered by all the other members in the forums. (It was nice to know that a lot of people are/have been going through the same things as myself)
However, I'm in a dilemma. Although I have been doing cardio for a good month now (40-50 minutes a day: running/jogging/walking on an incline/sprinting) I have no fat loss on my lower belly. I have also been eating right (also I have been cheating on Sundays) I'm just wondering if there is anything more I can do to rid this stubborn piece of fat or if it's forever going to be there.
Help!

Hey, I just wanted to know, when you say your eating right, what do you mean, what have you been eating? And have you noticed a change in the rest of your body, or are you having a hard time acheiving what you want anywhere other than your lower belly? Also, do you happen to have any advice on how I could get my upper theighs and butt tighter and more in shape?
Thanks,
June Amber

Hello. Thank you for the response. I have been eating 4-5 times a day (egg whites/chicken/veggies/2 servings of fruit) I have lost weight and have trimmed down on my arms, shoulders... so yes, it's pretty much just the tire around my waist that's a problem.
With the butt/thigh problem, I have been running (which I think trims down and tones a bit) and have been doing squats/lunges. I have done pilates in the past and have found that to be extremely helpful. I hope that helps a bit.

Sandy,
It sounds like you are right on track with your goals. Remember that you can not spot reduce any area on your body, you have to stay focused on your plan as you have been and your efforts will pay off. And welcome to FT!
