First off, I hope I posted this under the right message board. I was wondering. What is the amount of Sat. fat you should have in your total meal a day? I am trying to stay from 0g to 10g. Is that unrealistic? I eat wheat, fruit, veggies, and lean meat. Just half way through the day i'm already having 5g of sat. fat. I am usually at 10-15g of Sat. fat a day. Is that too much?

sounds fine to me.. keep it as low as possible, because its inevitable to get it in lean meats, dairy products, etc.

Saturated fats are not the enemy they are percieved to be. Do not go out of your way to get extra, but any natural occuring are fine. Saturated fats actually have a positive effect on testosterone. Many other benefits also.

Thank you, i've been researching the posts on Saturated fat. I visited that one fact site that was posted earlier too. It was pretty helpful and explained why we need some Saturated fat. I just wanted to make sure I was not taking too much in.

Staurated fats are good in low amounts. It's that Trans fats and hydrogenated oils you have to be careful about.
