One Month Weight Loss

Guys i was wondering with a pretty strict diet and 3-4 days cardio(30 minute runs/mixed with basketball) would it be possible to lose about 8 pounds in one month time? Ill be doing lifting to try and keep some of my muscle mass still. Will this work?

It is possible, but you will need to make sure you are not starving yourself. Eat 5-6 small meals a day w/ cardio and weight training. The rule of thumb, as I know it, is 2 lbs. per week. Losing more than 2 lbs. per week is considered unhealthy.
