I have been training for 13 weeks straight and was wondering if I should maybe take a break after this week. I still have the desire and drive to keep going but my body is starting to feel fatigued and my energy levels seem to be slightly less than it has been while training. I have also noticed my workout weights have become less consistant (sometimes able to use the same weight as the week before and sometimes having to go lighter).
If the answer is yes, should I
1. Keep the same diet or cut calories?
2. Keep using the Creatine or stop?
3. Will I lose some of the muscle I have gained?
4. Continue traing abs 3 times a week?
If the answer is no, how much longer should I go before taking a week off?
As always thanks in advance

I think it would be a great idea to take the full week off. 13 weeks straight is puting your body through tremendous stress and as you said already your body feels like it's fatigued. Take the week off and hit it hard next week. Just my thoughts.

Personally I like taking a week off ever 12 weeks or so.....for full body done to the bone recovery. I take a week off from everything, cardio abbs you name it.
If I was "bulking" I'd cut my calories back to maintainance.....
Takew creatine once a day.....in morning...
I always feel good after a week off, somtimes i'm a lil more sorer than normal.....however my weights used stayed the same........before we startted the summer "lift off" I took a week off from what I was doing....when I came back I only lost 5 working lbs a set......but the next week I was able to add 10lbs a working set.
I usual gain or lose a lb or 2 nothing major.....I ususlly just cut my carbs back a lil since i'm not as active.
Thing is I find.....when you come back...be in the mind set that your gonna be strong , gonna feel good, gonna lift hard. If you come back saying " I'm gonna be weak, i'm not gonna lift as much" etc.......thats whats gonna happen.
Take a week off, relax, watch some tv.......just like taking a break from a strict diet helps youi, taken a break from weights helps too.

Thanks for the input!
I beleive my body is telling me to take a breather so I am going to take a break next week.
Hopefully strength will be close to the same when I start back Monday after next.

I'm in the same boat with DX and Andrew, I say take a week off you'll come back to the gym feeling refreshed and well rested.

When i know i'm gonna take a week off......the week beofore...I go balls to the wall.....heavy hard....and maybe a few extra sets that might be conceidered "overtraining".....so when I walk out...I'm sore or as close to sore as I can get. So I know that week , i'll be recovering all week.

Well I never took the week off (just finished week 15 straight). I somehow felt lazy for even thinking about taking a break. However I am now feeling run down quite frequently, feeling achy kinda like the flu and have been experiencing minor "muscle pulls" where before I never did. Ironically this past week was my best yet with excellent gains made in the amount of weight used for each set. Funny thing is I was taking Creatine mixed with water and didn't notice a huge difference however this past week I started mixing with Gatorade (5g before and 5g after as per the label)and noticed recovery time between sets improved dramatically (at least in my mind).
Since this break seems inevitable my question is now should I at least continue my cardio to burn extra calories throughout the day?
Thanks in advance

just take a complete break....however cut your carb and fat intake accordingly...especially carbs....however I am not saying don't go for a walk/stroll etc...I am saying you can take a week off from gym(weight training/running threadmill )
