drink gallon of water daily....

eat 10 meals/snacks a day

bodyweight in protein....aim for lean sources...

try to eat 1/2 g per lb of bodyweight....those u do eat should be complex(brown/black rice, yams, sweet potatoesm buckwheat, lentils, beans, etc)

eat fibrous foods....beans,prunes, etc....

aim to eat very little fat daily and that u do eat should be the healthy variety from fish, nuts, flax seeds...

don't cut calorites by more than 500 calories....or you risk crashign your metabolic rate...if u cut calories by 500...that should be 1 lb of loss weekly...so 4lb monthly.....which should get you to ur goal in 5 months....

take a multivitamin....

Be careful not to eat too much fiber though. Too much fiber is dangerous, says a dietician that I have talked to. No more than 35g is good enough for any adult.

Shouldn't be much of a problem in our society, where everything is so processed, there's barely any fiber left...in most foods.....

35 is the recommended intake of fiber for an adult....'avg' adult...taking more than that is fine also....it depends on your caloric intake....a person consuming 5000 calories will need more fiber than someone consumin 1500...
