I haven't been here in a while. And in that while I let my body go to CRAP. Thats right I had an AWESOME body at one time. I am 24 years old, 5'9" 198 lbs. My gut has grown as well as my A**. I used to pump the iron every day of the week. NOW it's time to get back the body I once had. My chest and arms are Okay, but need mass. I started a low carb diet to lose the fat, but I want to gain mass after the fat loss. Someone tell me how to stay healthy, while I do this. How do I need to work my abs and legs to get them back to what they used to be. Please help. I'm to young to look like this...:surprised:

A low carb diet isn't going to help you build mass.
try a diet that focuses on lean protein and fibrous carbs, lots of water, good fats. get back to lifting and you should see improvement soon.
24 is young, you can regain what you had.

When I say low carb I mean like Honey buns, little debbies, cany bars. NOT total low carb. Name the best proteins I need or can buy at wal-mart. Fish, beef, eggs, what else???

Another question. When I work out, My body starts to get weak. When I was training years ago, I never got that weak. Should I be working out until failure now or should I slow down a bit?

Maybe you aren't eating enough to give yourself the energy to workout?
Are you just getting back to lifting from a long lay-off? ease back into it to recondition your muscles - start with toatl body 3 times a week, even a circuit would do. Then in a few weeks go to an upper body, lower body split, then in a few weeks go to a more advanced split and start pushing it a little harder.
