hey guys, i'm almost ready to start up my routine but one last thing(for now haha)

I'm skinny and looking to bulkup.....so what kind of weight should i be using. I understand that i should be doing low reps with heavy weights, but what about for things like lunges, dumbell flyes, dumbell presses. Basically i'm asking how heavy should my dumbells be?

Try it out- see what makes you comfortable, isnt so heavy you hurt yourself, yet still makes you work. As you progress the weight amount will eventually go up. Everyone is at a different fitness level to start- so it is up to you to start where you are most comfortable since you are unique and no one is the same as you! :)

The weight is only there to accomodate your rep range...pick weight heavy enough to just barely get through the required reps....you may want to start a little lighter at first to get form down and instead maybe do a few more sets...

for bulking up stick with 4-8 range....

for example....8,6,4....I would train using same rep range for all body parts(maybe with exception of calves or abs...although you stil can)...to have muscle balance...in size and strength
