Hi, I'm a 22 y/o female. I joined this place a while ago, but a lot of my attempts to start working out failed through. I already have a heart condition. I had surgery when I was 14, and I've been having problems again starting since last year. It's not caused from my weight, but I would like to get in better shape because I know it would certainly help not only for my overall health, but especially with my heart condition. I want to lose ~100 lbs. I'm looking for people to help give me support and motivation to work out and eat healthy. Thanks!

I'm way new here, but not new to the 'scene' in general, I suppose. I'm 18, been working at my body for about a year now and have lost a lot but still have quite a bit to go.. I'm exercising and doing my best at nutrition, but like most, I could use some motivation as well. If you want a personal support-buddy, feel free to email me. blaaksable@gmail.com

I threw a post in the injury section in relation to heart issues. Have a boo if you're interested. I had my first heart cathiter when I was 4 months old. All heart conditions are affected by extra pounds so use that to motivate you if it works. When I went in for my pacemaker in 2002 my specialist said to me, and I quote: "It wouldn't hurt you to drop some weight, you know." It motivated me but without continued motivation I have managed to gain some back.
Anyhow, if you want to chat please don't hesitate to drop me an instant message.
Take care of yourself!
