Hello to all:

As a martial artist, I have put my body through quite an amount of abuse. I am also a health educator, but I would like to ask some advoce from the posters on this board as to the best thig to do.

I took about 5 solid throws and landed on my back, in the subsequent 2 weeks my back, but mostly my chest muscles have begun to feel tense, no pain, especially when I walk. It felt like a heart attack, of course it isn;t because I went to my M.D. and th ER to make sure I was OK, all was clear. Now that I know this extreely uncomfortable heavy feling in my chest is from the sprain when I landed on my back, I started naproxin a few days ago. I know intercostal and chest muscles take a long time to heal and feel 100 percent, so I will have to deal with the heaviness and pulls for a little while. Is there any other thing anyone can think of that I can do to help expedite this or make me feel a litle better, perhaps a specific lotion. I tried vicks and ben gay, not reallya big help.

Any advice,,,,thnxx so much !
