I am in the bulking phase, trying to put on some muscle and (hopefully as little as possible) fat. I have been doing this for about 3 weeks. I have gained probably 5-10 lbs, but on my last tape my waist has dropped .5"-1". Is this normal in the bulking phase? Just curious. I have been lifting for a while, but this is the first time I have done it in phases (bulking and cutting). I have definitely started noticing results on my upper body bulk wise as well, but it almost seems as if I am losing fat and gaining muscle. Would I get better results weight gain wise if I up my calories a few more? I am following the ft profile on calories and c,p,f currently, and am around 4,400 calories, 650c/270p/100-125f. (FYI- I am 6'1, 195 lbs, 14% bf) Also if it helps at all, I use a 3g Creatine Ethyl Ester Compound twice a day.
Any feedback would be appreciated.
