i know pizza isnt considered a body building food or anything but if im in a bulking stange would it really be that bad? and im not talking about pizza hut pizza, or that shitty fat crap, my brother inlaw works at "the shack" its a just a small pizza store where i live and he brings the nicest pizzas home ive had one slice of pizza in the last year and a bit.. and i was like omg this is so nice but they make it nicer there too, i was just thinking if it was relaly that bad, he makes all his pizzas himself, and its all freshly good ingredients example he makes some pizzas with real chicken olives or prawns.. the only thing i can see that is really that bad in the pizza is the doo bread which is just flower how bad could it really be..? maybe ask him to make me one with wheat brown flower if that exists??

Pizza is not all that bad. think it's got tomato sauce rich in nutrients, cheese calcium and protein, dough a carb source. then you can add some veggies to go ultra healthy with it lol. Just put some paper towling over the top and mop off a little grease and it's good to go.

why not eat those ingredients in another form? like together on a plate...without bread...
dough is a form of simple carbs...
also pizzas have lots of oil...
the pizza tomato sauce is often very high in sodium...think water retention...
I don't even know how I used to eat a whole large pizza...I get nauseous after a slice now...

i think timmstar that its is ok for the normal person.. a couple slices of pizza aren't going to kill you. just keep things in moderation again, dont eat everything you see until you can't move. try to stay away from the fatty meats, like pepperoni and bacon, and stick to the healthier ones, like chicken and tons of veggies. and like mike said, if you're worried about the grease, you can mop it up with a paper towel.
maybe if we were training for a competition or something it might not be the best choice, but for everyday living im sure it will be ok. (coming from the guy who had pizza last night :) but i kept it healthy)
