if I work my abs really hard and I take creatine does it bulid them up faster? should I take creatine before or after workouts and if before workouts when should I take it?

Try a fitBuddy search for this (link down at the bottom) - both your questions are common and answered extremely frequently here.

1) Creatine is a very small edge considering the big picture (intensity/frequency/DIET) in lifting. Experts here will tell you that you don't really need it in the beginning.

2) Opinions vary as to whether to take it before or after. The fitBuddy search is really going to help you here.
