look through powerlifting forum....also do some research into olympic lifts and plyometrics....
olympic lifts like power cleans and snatches....are the best exercises in terms of transfer from exercise to on the field performance ....both train your whole body......
plyometrics are different exercises you can do with body weight and some other equipment...like box jumps, squat jumps, lateral jumps, and so on...there are tons of exercises...
also sledding might be helpful to you...it's an exercise used by powerlifters to develop pure power.....since you play football you have space to do it....it's a sled onto which u can place weights....some sleds can hold 700+lb....you strap it to your body and run as fast as you can...doing sprints....or timed runs.....look through powerlifting forum....also www.deepsquatter.com has a lot of info on this topic....
powerlifting is also very helpful at developing general strength and power...
you need to start eating more...if you eat a clean diet already(ie no soda, chips, etc)....then add another 500 calories over maintenance in complex carbs...to your diet......by eating more yams, lentils, sweet potatoes, buckwheat, etc...
supplement wise you can try taking protein supplement...whey protein powder may be helpful....you need at least 1g of protein per lb of bodyweight ....so tthis supplement may help you meet that goal
if you have trained consistantly for last 1-2 years then creatine may be of use.....it can help you gain up to 10% in strength ....try to drink a gallon a day with it...don't take any caffeinated products for an hour before or after...when taking creatine....
ZMA may give you additional strength gains(and improved sleep)
daily multivitamin maybe good...
other than that....you don't really need much
