(as i was about to say more he butt in..) he specifically said "BREAD DOESNT HAVE FIBRE IN IT!!!"...in some pritty serious to prove me wrong type tone... so i said nothing...looked at him.. smiled at him ... then got up and walked out... Well....Tim, it depends what type of bread. If it is white processed crap, then no it has no fiber. If it is a grain bread then it does have some.
And doctors are not stupid. There are a couple on here that answer some of the posts.!

Religous people and Scientist... theres drs on this site? well so u know i was talking about that specific dr i went to... and yes the white bread ur talking about must be EXTREMLY CRAPPY PROCESSED ( shit... ) cuz the bread i got well aussie area where i get mine the white bread even has fibre in it...

whole grain breads have gram or two of fiber per serving....white processed...even enriched kind have none for most breads...I am not sure what type of breads you have in australia so I can't comment...but you should pause before jumping all over the doctor...there could be some other logic to his thinking so don't rush to conclusions...

Maybe the doc was thinking more along the lines of fruits and veggies...apples, broccoli, oranges, strawberries, brussel sprouts, prunes...y'know..ruffage.
