How Much Should I Weigh?

Yea, I know it's a loaded question and it all depends on my own personal goals and how I feel about myself, but I want some input. I'm 28 yrs old, 5'10" on a medium/large frame. How much do you think I should weigh? I don't want to be one of these big guys I see at the gym with all these huge muscles. While I admire the dedication and training that goes into looking like that, I'd rather be on the leaner side.

FYI: Since January 31st, I've dropped 35 pounds -- down from 330 to 295. I've done it with a weight training plan from this site, 40-60 minutes of cardio a day and a healthy diet.

Any input?

Thanks!

Hi Dave-

You are doing a really good job. I really think this is the type of question that your doctor should answer for you using a Height and Weight chart. I think in your situation you could aim for around 210 safely. This also depends upon how much muscle that you gain, and how big your frame is. Also beyond weight the answer would be to keep a track of your body fat percentage. Keep up the good work.

Since you are all training there is no point to using a "Height and Body weight chart". That will just show you as obese, and unhealthy. You should look at getting to a healthy BF% (As sivysivy mentioned) which is around 15-17%. The average person is around 25%.
Congrats on the progress and you must look really good.
