Hi yah!,

I've been sick for the last two days and have already skipped working out and eating.

I've been taking Ny'quil and sipping chicken soup.

I think I've already lost about 2-3 lbs....probably more later on.

what's the quickest way to get back on track?

thanks in advance,

:)

I'm sorry to hear another FT'er has succumbed to these awful illnesses running rampid, I hope you are feeling better soon. Don't be hard on yourself, you have to recover first, there is no choice there.

The quickest way to get back on track is when you are feeling better, no fever, no weakness, that you ease yourself into a routine again. Do not overdo it, that is imperative, but don't put it off. Drink plenty of fluids now and when you start working out again as you may be already dehydrated and if not you don't want to become so.

Well wishes and I hope you are feeling better soon.

take a zinc supplement 30-50mg tablets with 500mg vitamin C....once a day...

drink more water than you do usually...so gallon a day at least...

take fish oil supplement and CLA to help spare the muscle...I am guessing since you have decrease appetite...try to drink a couple of protein shakes a day...to keep your protein intake relatively high to spare the muscle break down...

gl and get healthy...the flu season hit many of us pretty hard ..

most of what your losing is probably water weight.....don't fret......keep drinking fluids and eat what ya can when ya can........your body will need energy to battle this virus.
