I've been running a little of both lately but up until last week when i throw my back out of alinement (squats im guess) i havnt ran for about 2 weeks, and i use to do football and now im in track and field im the smalls and lightest thrower, i dont run, i ran last year, but im woundering if i should just start running my sprints for conditioning (funny how our throwing coach makes us run with the sprinters, even tho i can keep up) or if i should start light and do distance, if i can even loose endurace in that time span......advice

for conditioning you should do sprints....or interval training
distance running is more useful for fat lose or for distance running events specifically(like if u run 5k then u need to practice 5k also in addition to anything else u might wanna do)
