Hi
I'm 14 and people usually say I'm skinny, but I tried the body fat % calculator, and it said that i'm almost overweight.

how can that be?

Another thing;
how come I look very skinny but my stomic looks big?

I dont understand?

I do athletics 4 times a week. and I go to competittions.
I don't have many muslecs, but those I have are quite visible...

help me please.

Hi there,

I wouldnt take that much notice to Bodyfat calcs as they tend to be very untrustworthy and inaccurate. Get your bodyfat percentage measured by someone with the proper equipment.

As for the looking skinny but stomach looking big; I think we are pre-disposed to store fat here so even if the rest of your body seems to be toned there may be a little fat here. We cant spot burn fat unfortunately either.

What are your goals if any and fill in your profile.

Tell us more..........

Yea - I wouldn't worry too much about the bf calculator. I've tried several and they all come up with very different percentages

But if you really want to track it, try mybodycomp.com and put in the numbers. Remeber it is only computer software, but you can go back anytime to make a comparison and see your progress. It will give you a guide if your gaining or losing.
