Well, I haven't had cheese yet this week. Now that I'm thinking about cheese, it's going to haunt me and taunt me. Now I'm really craving it. Ugh!

I gave up soda for lent and I haven't drank any yet I'm so proud of myself. I can't wait till easter. I hope the soda still tastes good though. I've been substituting crystal light for the soda. It's alright, but I'd rather have a diet coke. I love trying all of the new sodas to.

DX,
I bought some Crystal Light recently and after drinking it, it gave me heartburn. I thought that was really strange and haven't had any since.

Are you sure that the crystal light is what gave you heartburn? Did you eat anything before or with the crystal light that might give you heartburn? I think that's pretty odd.

Nope, it was just the crystal lite. I was really thirsty and hadn't had anything to eat for awhile. It was the pink lemonade flavor. I'm not a big lemonade/juice fan, and don't drink it very often, so I'm not sure why I had heartburn.

Definately the lemonade one gives me heartburn, too!

I am adding NO candy/sweets/junk all in one shot this time. I am tired of any temptations and I don't care if it is a lot to take on at once, I will let myself have something on my cheat day and that is it. I am drinking carrot juice right now, even, lol! I have been very ill and it is all I can do to move let alone exercise but I am sticking to eating well if it kills me and then as soon as I can I am back to working out as I feel like a darn balloon even!

Are you still doing the challange? I would love to do it to. My biggest temptation is Fast food because I dont get out of work til 9 and im 16..I live with my dad and he doesnt go food shopping. He just gives me like 10$ a day. I hope all this helps me.

I know I am still doing the challenge though I haven't heard from anyone in awhile, seems like things have fizzled but I'm sure everyone is still working at it. Pick your temptation and post it as your goal for the next two weeks. I am working on the sweets right now, have stopped drinking pop from the first challenge, which means I have as of now saved myself plus or minus nearly 8,000 calories since then! I also stopped pizza for two weeks, I won't stop eating pizza altogether like I hope to with the pop, but I will eat far less when we do have it!

Good luck with your goals and keep us posted as to your progress!

OKAY - who is in for this weeks challenge? I am switching it back to a week at a time so it is easier to follow, but keep doing your challenge after your week is up!

I am still on the sweets/snacking challenge, I did have a piece of pumpkin pie on my cheat day, but threw most of it away, just allowing myself a couple bites. It wasn't worth it anyway! :)

Onward and Forward to all! Good luck and please post your challenges!

Wow, you sure are brave VedaKathryn. I'll try to stay away from Chocolate this week; although, now that I've stated this, chocolate will be everywhere...except in my mouth (hopefully).

Well, I guess this thread has fizzled, I had hoped that some friendly challenges would be helpful and supportive as a group, but I hear an echoooooooo...so here is me, signing out, good luck to you all with your goals, I'm still working on the last challenge and that one will keep me going for awhile! Don't give up or give in!

Its too bad this thread isn't more popular!
I think it would be a good idea and fun!
I hope you achieve your goals Veda and I will sure try hard not to give in to my temptation!
My biggest temptation is still soda. Bleh!

Good luck :)
