I got a Men's fitness yesterday and although there was some fitness in it - about half seemed dedicated to getting laid. That's fine and all, but not what I was looking for.
My wife and I would like to get a couple subscriptions to decent fitness magazines actually about fitness. A strong emphasis on exercising (lifting/cardio) with some about diet.
Anyway - any suggestions for mens and/or womens magazine are appreciated!

Fitness RX is good. Primarily aimed at women, but alot of good things for us too.
Muscle & fitness is ok too, as long as you ignore the advertising.

Still trying to find out how to do the Hollywood Free Press.

I don't know if you can get it in the US, but Ultrafit magazine is really good. Possibly more geared towards the cardio side of things, but most of the contributors have good bio-science degrees rather than being journalists.

Again - thanks everyone.
We went out and got a copy both of Mens and Womens Fitness RX at Barnes and Nobles. Excellent magazines! The mens is a bit hard to find elsewhere, but definitely worth it - at least to a newbie like me.
Thanks for helping me sort through the junk - there sure is a ton of it out there!
