Being overweight is a common trait these days and there is not enough help out there. Find out how you can shed those pounds and improve yourself from within.
I started my new lifestyle routine Dec 26, 2004 (couldn't wait till the new year). Age 46 & Starting Weight 251.3. I journal all my meals and eat between 1225 and 1800 calories a day. My program consists of: 60 minutes on treadmill 6 days a wk, 3 days a wk I weight train. I rest totally on Sundays. I drink 1 gallon of water daily. Today was my 6 week weigh in and I came in at 236.0 pounds. Loss of 15.3 pounds.
Is this about right for my results or should I really have loss more?
I'm in no hurry to lose the weight I really want to just be successful and I just want it to come off and stay off. If I stay faithful and dedicated will maintaining this pace and routine be successful.
I think that is pretty good... the average is about 2 to 3 pounds per week... over six weeks you could be at about 12 to 18... so really, not bad, you did good! Congratulate yourself.
I do wonder though, shouldn't you be eating more? I guess it depends on your goals. Why not fill out your profile and follow the nutritional guidelines and tracker here on FT?
