Hi...I'm 47 yr old male... i got back into fitness after quitting smoking, gaining 35 lbs... then 5 yrs later losing that same 35 lbs with only diet and barely no excercise... but doing so i lost a lot of muscle mass... so the last 1 1/2 years ive been going to the gym 3 times a week..the first year i gain lot of mucscle mass back... but i seem to have hit a wall for the last 6 months... ei: first year my armes were a measly 13"... they grew to 14 1/2" but haven't moved since.. same goes with my other body parts,,,, ive changed my workout a few times but to know results... any suggestion anyone?
Thanks...Gerry

If you're changing your routines fairly regularly, then the answer may be in your diet. I've gone through the same situation where you make big gains and then stall at a certain spot. My solution was to gradually add more calories and strictly monitor my protein/carbs/fats. After that, the gains started again, though naturally at a slower pace than before.
