Building the back is Hard for me as no matter what i do and how heaviy i go it seem its all in vain. My lats have a 2-3 inch mass spred(thats from the front angle). My most use back execise is the lateral pull down. What is the best way two build up a good back spred?

for width... pull ups........thickness anykind of row.

traing the back is about concentration, and going light so you can feel the "squeeze" of each muscle or area your targeting.
