That is what it feels like...I have been "gym'in" it for over six weeks and have not lost anything as far as I can tell, no loose pants, shirts, nada. I really need to get my act together and figure out how to work on the nutrition area, I am pretty sure that is what is holding me up. I also need to probably add a day or two more to the workout. I do feel much better and there are days when I just want to run a marathon but know I wouldn't make it around the block, but I really want to, does anyone else feel that way? Just full of ambition and the need and want to be so healthy and fit that you want to just go play "Rocky" and run a bunch of steps, jog five miles, swim for hours, just work it? Then stupid reality hits but I gotta be happy with being able to sustain 20 minutes on the eliptical rather than my previous 3, right! I hope someday I can do all those things my heart wants to!

Veda!!! MOVE YOUR HEINIE!!! DO IT DO IT DO IT DO IT!!!

That was in response to your wonderful butt kicking on my post a few days ago. I do understand your frustration. This 6lbs I have lost is the first and only 6 in.....3 years of dieting. Nutrition is deffinately a key. Also, I don't know how much cardio you are doing, but it could be too much or too little. I hope that you start to see the results you long for soon, and we are always here to support you!!

That happens to me too. I workout for X amount of weeks, and then when I lose nothing, I'm like "screw it". It is my eating habits holding me back too...I just figure that exercising would have me lose something.

Thanks, CristalBelle, appreciate the booster! I am doing cardio at least 3 times a week, that is why I'm thinking I should add 1-2 days more to see what happens, what do you think? I have definately learned patience here but I also know where I am lacking most and that is nutrition, so I will work on that. I have my first weight loss support group meeting tonight!! I am starting a chapter here and I am so excited, hopefully that will give me that extra boost knowing that others are watching me in person!! :)

That is exactly what I used to do, DaniDIEt, "screw it"! But luckily I don't feel that way and haven't for a while, I just wish I could move things along a bit faster, lol!!

With the help from so many here at FT, I have learned to stick with it, to not give up and that bad days will happen but good ones do, too, and just to wait it out for the good ones! I just need to share my frustrations now and then! I did strictly cardio on the treadmill yesterday and will again today, I did 45 minutes, though, usually it's only 20-30 as I do weight lifting, too, but with still nursing my injuries, I thought I would do just cardio and up the time. I'm glad I went, even though I was still fairly sore, I think it helps to loosen things up a bit, too, when your ready to and I was ready to do something!! :)

Don't try so hard and you won't get fed up. Be patient and you will get the results required.
Remember diet is 80% of the formula, 10% exercise, and 10% rest!
