I am new to this site but so far it looks like I might get the support and advice I am looking for. I am a F/36 married with children, lol, and I need to lose A LOT of weight and would like advice on getting started and keeping with it. I have a weight bench, exercise bike and will be purchasing a treadmill soon. I need to lose around 170 lbs, I lost 80 lbs several years ago but gained it all back due to life! I really want to make a lifestyle change, tired of being fat and sedentary with NO energy! Please help!:(

Yes, yes, songbird11785, baby steps help beat the frustrations! For instance, lower the amount of sugar, if you drink three pops a day, lower it to two then one then none, if you eat 10 cookies, lower it to 6 then 3 then none, etc. Do the same with fat as you do with sugars (carbs). Write everything down for a couple weeks to show yourself what you are really digesting. Start using the equipment adding time and weight bit by bit. Don't look at the scale for the first month to 6 weeks, rather feel the fit of your clothes. Above all DO NOT GIVE IN TO pity parties and frustrations, just ignore any nasty feelings until you are having happy ones again! :) Most of all, stick with it here, post often and you can show yourself that you are not giving in to giving up!! :) Great to have you here!
