Can I have my arms on the outside of my legs, or is it better to have my arms inside my legs and my legs spread far apart?

Check out the fitness resources at the top. You can get a step-by-step guide on how to do all sorts of exercises and there's also a clip on the proper form. You can also check out www.abcbodybuilding.com.

sumo style however with legsfurther apart will make the movement "shorter"( not as far to stand up) however this way is more difficult since your lower back somes into play more so, than the standard dl. Play with each for 4 or 5 weeks......see what feels better.

I thought sumo squats where uncomfy, till I did them for a while, now I prefere them........however a wider stance will be more a "power" movement than a body building movement.

All this sumo style talk... I just imagined sumo wrestlers doing deadlifts... a split in their diaper... oh my god...

Anyway, which is a better bodybuilding form of the deadlift: regular, straight leg, or bulgarian?

I find them all hard to do sometimes due to lack of flexibility, I wind up curving my back. But I'm interested in the preferred methods.
