i know this doesnt belong in this thread but no one repsones my other posts, so i was woundering what are some quick snacks or meals you guys prepare, i dont really have time to make the meal maybe something that takes 4 or 5 minutes to prepare? i dont have any time between track and football conditioning, i ahve the money to buy the materials but no time to prepare this would help alot thanks

ok my favorite is Yam....u take a big yam or two put it in microwave and nuke it for 4-5 min....then open 2-3 cans of tuna....combine....great complex carbs with great protein source...
-protein shakes are a great way....Pro-Rated Choc/Vanilla at Costco....19.87
-nutrition bars with at least 15 g of protein...
-trail mix/raisins/dried fruits/bananas/apples
-yogurt
-nuts(walnuts, almonds, etc)
-beef jerky is awesome
-sandwiches(100% wholewheat/rye with turkey/chicken breast)-NO MAYO..ever....mustard is ok...lil/no ketchup
-nice thick slice of cheese...
etc

It's not a bad idea to spend a few hours in the kitchen on an off day. If your kitchen skills aren't great, ask someone to help you. It's fun to cook with friends or I'll bet your mom would love to spend some time helping you. You can make an entire week of meals and snacks and just throw em in the freezer or fridge.

Nuts, preferably raw almonds, cashews, and walnuts.

protein bars...at costco now are 24 in a pack for 9.99$....30g per bar....my friend just bought 4 cases....says they taste good...
.....lol@random guy buying clif bars seeing my friend at the counter (with his bars and 2 Bottles of Pro_rated)and going back to get the same thing lol
