Ive had a heart problem, other than a minor heart murmur, but the more i workout, i know i need to watch my heart rate. i take hydroxycut faithfully and my diet consists of alot of protien and healthy carbs. I work out 5 days a week, sometimes twice a day, 40 min cardio every day, and light weight lifting. Im 5'5 with a weight of 135. What SHOULD be my heart rate? If anyone could offer any advice on this, it would be greatly appreciated!!! thanks in advance!

yes, consult your doctor. Your recommended heart rate may be different than the norms.
Also - are you sure hydroxycut is safe when you have a heart problem?
Is the murmur your only heart issue? That isn't clear in your post.

220-23= 197

now multiply 197 by 55%, 60%, 75%, and 85% and you will know different heart rate zones.
When you do cardio you want to utilize different zones on diferent days.

Also - there is FAQ about Target Heart Rate, I am pretty sure....
