I'm 15 years old and started working out primarily upper body since grade 9 (last year). I noticed that this hasn’t stunted my growth at all because I outgrew my dad throughout this working out period, my growth spurt occurred and the workout had no affect. This year I'm still growing and want to start working out my legs and wonder if it will stunt my growth or will it be like when I did my upper body. :)
Training will not stunt your growth, but make sure you have someone show you what you should be doing, re: curls, presses, squats etc. You can cause injury if not positioned right.
Good luck and keep growing!
