Hi all,
I'm new here and need some advise about abdominal exercises. About 3 months ago I had some rather extensive surgery that included cutting my oblique muscles(as well as the lats and several others) on my left side completely in half!

Well, I have knitted up quite nicely and am back to the gym to try to loose the 25 extra pounds I put on while recovering. Now I am trying to find some exercises I can do to train my torso without putting too much stress on my left side. The basic crunch is about all I can handle, but I don't feel like I'm accomplishing much when I do them. Can anyone give me some new ideas to work my torso without putting too much stress on the newly knitted muscles?

you can do them on a ball. You'll work more stablizing muscles on it, an dget a read good stretch. But try different things and see what hurts and doesn't
