hi all,
this is my first post - all comments welcome...

I am applying for the QAS (queensland ambulance service) and am required to pass a health and fitness test in late February of 2005.

The test requires a high level of abdominal strength and endurance as well as tests the candidates on their cardio fitness (3 minutes of stairs x 4).

My current situation is:
age: 19
fitness level: beginner
weight: 60kgs
height: 165cms

I've been given 3 months gym membership as a present and wondered if anyone could offer any advice on how i should go about getting myself into shape.

please let me know if i've posted this in the wrong area or am barking up the wrong tree completeley...

cheers

erin
