thanks guys the thing is i've never had trouble before or atleast occassionally i'll have a few days where i have trouble getting to sleep, but it usually goes away with in a week. I truly believe it is the construction the first day it started is when i started. I got to sleep after that last post and probably would have slept great but the damn construction woke me up at 8:00 when i really needed to sleep till like 10 i need to catch up on some sleep, i'm very groggy right now maybe it's from the benedryll. My dad told me to take that should not take benedryll? We're trying to move right now going to look at places today and we just moved in, construction truly sucks, it's an evil but necessary business.

It is literally 20 feet next next to my room i don't think that would even do anything, i think we found a new place although they don't take pets and i have one cat but this place is perfect it's right on the ocean and it's at a decent price so i have to decide whether to let my brother take my cat for a while or pass up on the place. What about sleeping pills my dad is going to get me some, are these bad for your body building muscle wise and what not.

I don't know how sleeping pills affect muscle growth, but they do aid in getting you sleepy very fast, and keeping you sleep. The one negative is that they can be very addicting, so you only want to use them for 2-3 nights at the most.

I don't know what's on offer over in the States but why not check with your local pharmacy about herbal sleeping tablets. I've used these on occassion and they really give you a good sleep. However, if your anxious about anything (ie construction work starting early in the morning) it's going to prey on your mind and thus hinder you getting to sleep. Honestly, try the trick of using the radio. I know the construction will not be a permanent thing but it may help you in the future as well.

Valerian root is a very cheap/inexpensive sleep aid used for hundreds of years. You can buy it as tea bags or capsules if you prefer.-------------- If you don't stand for something, you will fall for anything.... bb1fit@freetrainers.com |

well i've been getting some sleep now that i've been taking benedryl and valerian root seems help with the anxiety and calm me down, but my energy levels in the gym have been down significantly..could this be do to be catching back up on some sleep or from the sleeping aids?.... i was thinking about taking ABB's Speed Stack before a workout to see if that works does anbody know about this supplement? I will be moving on Sunday so i should hopefully be off the sleeping aids by next week sometime.

justin 7 hours +naps != 8 hours....naps are useful...but you still need consistant and full 8 hours or more per night...most of the repair as far as i know happens during the deepest stages of slp...which you generally don't get to during naps...
however, some people need more or less slp...so it's different....I have had a teacher who slept 5 hours every night for over 20 years and was very healthy... he went to slp at 12 and got up at 5...so routine is very very important...make sure you go to slp at same exact time and get up at same exact time.... I personally need 9-10 hours of sleep consistantly to be well...and more if i get less slp on night before...so i can't relate to people who get by on 8 hours of slp...or less... i know as been pointed out that ZMA improves quality of slp...also don't take any caffein few hours before slp also don't do anything or watch anything excitable before slp...no watching crazy tv shows...no reading anything excitable...etc.. make sure your room is cool before you go to slp and make sure your room is dark have fun slping | |

well i'm not having trouble falling a sleep anymore it's staying a sleep. It seems my body is in the routine of waking up around 5 o'clock or 7. Is there a way to break this routine and get back to my old sleep habits? I feel like i will never sleep the same again.
