I've been trying to loose the fat in my stomach/waist area so naturally I started doing different crunches such as regular crunches, sit ups, leg lifts, and bicycle crunches..... Unfortunately now all the fat that was surrounding my ribs is gone and the stomach fat still lingers giving me a creepy appearance. My ribs like stick out appear bony and then I have this chubby stomach under the ribs which have no fat whatsoever. Any ideas?
You can't spot reduce fat. What most likely happened is, through whatever means, you burned some fat, most of it on your upper torso, but your body is still holding on to it around your stomach - that's the spot my body loves to hang onto fat as well. Keep burning fat and it will eventually fade from your stomach as well.
