Calf Raises on Leg Press Machine...???

There is no picture on my routine that shows this...i am wondering in it can be done standing using a squat machine...thanks for the help

Sure can. By the squat machne I assume you are talking smith, and yes, this is fine. Put an aerobic step or similar under your feet and to them.

You can do them easily on the leg press, just push the weights out with your feet, then in that extended position, drop one foot down so just the balls of your feet are on the edge, then the other foot the same, and press the weight with jsut the balls of your feet curling your toes in toward the plate. Do your alloted amount of reps.

Thanks, just wanted to check. dont like going to the gym and wasting time doing a workout if i dont get anything out of it. Thanks for the help

The thread title said 'leg press machine', which is different than the standing method. Of the two, I would recommend what Sandy described over using a seated type leg press machine for safety reasons. Alot of gyms will have a steel 'calf block' which is a small platform specifically for calf raises and calf stretching.
