alright, when i try and do pushups no matter how far or close i put my hands apart,my right shoulder gives pain and also on the way up cracks almost every time.(also happens while benching) its lowered my strength becuz i can now do less pushups and hav stayed the same weight. in benchpress i hav not gone up much and not very normally. i thought it would pass but its been bothering for about a month. anyone have any idea wat it could be?

Benching,

I don't actually know what the problem with your shoulder is, but I can tell you a couple of quick things. First, if it is giving you pain, you need to rest it. You won't get any better unless you give it some time. Second if it doesn't get better with a week or two of rest it may be worth seeing a physician about it. You could have a rotator cuff tear or some other kind of tendon damage.

To summarize rest it and see what happens, if that doesn't work see a doctor.
